SCAC is a Land Project!

Based in Oakland, California we seek to engage with urban public lands as a commons, using art and utility to build and expand a social, material, and mysterious relationship with the plants, humans, critters, and elements present. We are curious about how the practice of art making in collaboration with the land can build human capacity to act as keystone species within the community of life. We see commoning as a human behavior that can be a keystone species behavior.
